Is your Facebook profile visible on Google searches?

If you don’t want that to happen this guide will show you how to stop that from happening. This guide is suitable for PC, Mac, Apple and Android Devices.

1. Welcome to the techconfidence.com.au guide to choose if your Facebook profile is visible on Google or not.

2. Tap the menu, top right or bottom right and look for 3 lines directly underneath each other or 9 small dots

3. On a computer, click the down arrow and choose settings.

4. Scroll or swipe down and tap Account Settings

5. On a computer, click privacy.

6. Tap Privacy

7. Click edit for the “Do you want search engines outside of Facebook to link to your profile option?”

8. Scroll or swipe down and tap “Do you want Search Engines outside of Facebook to link to your profile”.

9. On a computer, this option should be off and the box unchecked.

10. Tap to toggle the setting on or off
